This project by KOICA focuses on developing the rice value chain in the central region of which the Assin Foso Municipal Assembly is a beneficiary. The program has brought on board Agricultural machinery for improved productions (tractor, plough, harrow, rotovator, power tiller, reapers, threshers, winnowers, water pumping machines, grain moisture meters, direct rice seeder)

Another component of the project is the establishment of a 3ton milling factory at Assin Akropong
